Last homes remaining at development after sales success
Local housebuilder, Barratt Homes, has reported tremendous success at its Silkwood Gate development in Wakefield. Now in its final phase of construction, the development has sold 90% of its homes with the final properties remaining selling fast, highlighting the thriving housing market in the area.
Silkwood Gate has seen a huge boost in sales from initiatives including the Government backed Help to Buy scheme, with 50% of all sales completed at this development being purchased with Help to Buy.
Buyers visiting the development can view the last homes available to buy now, which include the Alston, a three bedroom detached home with a stylish family dining kitchen and a bay fronted lounge, and the Barwick, an ideal home for first time buyers, also with three bedrooms and a bright open-plan lounge diner with French doors opening onto the garden.
Nicki Jefferson, Sales Manager at Silkwood Gate, commented:
“The recent sales success at Silkwood Gate is not surprising with the development being so well connected, offering the perfect location for those commuting to Wakefield, Leeds or York. Many of our buyers find their daily commute now significantly reduced, with the centre of Leeds only a 20-minute drive away! The homes left available offer brilliant three and four bed family living, and the final remaining properties are sure to be snapped up very soon!”
Barratt Homes is building a selection of stylish homes developments across the region. For more information about Barratt Homes visit www.barratthomes.co.uk.
