The Office Group to launch 70,000 sq ft shared workspace in Victoria
Shared workspace business, The Office Group (TOG), has added a new 70,000 sq ft property in Victoria.
The property will be the firm’s first in the area and sits minutes from Victoria Station in a ‘prominent corner position’ at Eccleston Square, continuing the company’s push into new areas in London.
According to TOG, the seven-storey building, which it has acquired from Mosaic Properties on a 20-year lease, will now undergo a comprehensive refurbishment programme before opening at the end of the year to become its 32nd shared workspace in the capital.
Other recent acquisitions by the business include 60,00 sq ft at Lyric Square in Hammersmith, and an agreement to acquire 10,250 sq ft on the fourth floor of 91 Wimpole Street, a deal which made it the sole occupier of the 57,000 sq ft building.
TOG is also developing a 90,000 sq ft workspace at Tintagel House near the River Thames which will become its flagship office development once completed.
Charlie Green, Co-CEO of TOG, commented: “We’ve been trying to get into Victoria for a while but have struggled to find the right building until we managed to get 84 Eccleston Square. It’s got everything we need. It’s a great size, very close the station and tons of natural light.”
