Celebrating 21 years of housebuilding excellence

AWARD-winning property developer Conroy Brook is celebrating 21 years in the construction industry with a major rebrand and new website.

Formed in 1996, Conroy Brook brought together two established housebuilding families led by Ivan Conroy and Martin Brook, with the intention of forming a company to focus specifically on high quality, low volume family housing across Yorkshire.

Two decades later, following a share buyout and “succession” restructuring in 2010,

the West Yokshire based company is still going strong, with Ivan and Martin’s sons Richard and Jason now successfully at the helm.

And to mark the landmark anniversary and the growth of the Holmfirth company, the management team has unveiled a rebrand and a new website

CEO Richard Conroy commented: “For 21 years we have been developing award-winning homes for our customers throughout Yorkshire.

“In that time we have grown from building a single first house, to now having a pipeline of over 100 homes ahead of us in some of the best locations in the north.

“We are proud to be a family business which has had some great achievements over the years including winning over 60 awards for our design and construction excellence.

“During the past 21 years, however, we have used the same logo, albeit in various versions, but at the same time we have grown, diversified and specialised - and this is no longer reflected in our current branding.

“Housebuilding is still very much the core of our business but we have also moved successfully into commercial construction and areas such as retirement and care developments.

“As such, we needed a marque that would represent and reflect our values, ambitions and aspirations as the companies moves into exciting and challenging new areas of growth.

“We look forward to taking the business forward over the next 21 years, and I would personally like to pay tribute to the vision of founders Ivan and Martin when Conroy Brook was established in 1996, and how they have steered the business to help make it the company it is today.”

Director Jason Brook, who is also CEO of The Brook Group and Director of Quest Property, added: “The Conroy Brook name has a longstanding reputation for quality, instilled particularly by Ivan Conroy who has always been passionate about building great houses.

“In acknowledging the 21st anniversary it is important that we recognise the whole team behind us, who work hard to make it all possible.

“Richard and I have known each other now for over 30 years, since our school days, so we go back even further than the company!

“In celebrating what Ivan and Martin, started and grew, we now look forward to moving on to the next level, with a refreshed brand, and we are well placed to achieve that as the company continues to prosper and evolve.”
