Specialist rail manufacturer completes 'great acquisition' of Doncaster Carr Industrial unit

Acting on behalf of the Royal Mail, Leeds-based property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall has sold a 9,500 sq ft industrial unit at Doncaster Carr Industrial Estate to Hird Rail Services.

The specialist rail manufacturer has purchased the former transport workshop, which is located on a 1.19 acres site, for an undisclosed price.

Jonathon White, industrial agent at Sanderson Weatherall, said: “The substantial interest and price we achieved on this sale demonstrates the high demand for quality industrial units, particularly with large external yard areas.

“The unit is a great acquisition for Hird Rail Services, located in a well-established industrial estate, and surrounded by occupiers such as Royal Mail, Tesco Distribution, Burrows Hyundai and Keepmoat Stadium.”
