Sponsorship Opportunities at Malton Food Lovers Festival

LEADING UK FOOD FESTIVAL SEARCHES FOR BRAND PARTNERSHIPS TO CREATE RECIPE FOR SUCCESS.

Malton, Yorkshire’s Food Capital, will welcome its 9th annual Malton Food Lovers Festival on 27 – 28th May 2017 and organisers are on the hunt for likeminded businesses to be part of and sponsor Malton’s food revolution.

Attracting tens of thousands of visitors to the picturesque market town of Malton, the Festival is well regarded as one of the UK’s most prestigious food festivals, attracting some of the finest food talent in the country.

Headlining the 2017 festival cookery theatre is celebrity chef and British-Jamaican reggae musician, Levi Roots. He will be joined by a line-up of culinary names including: food writer and journalist, Prue Leith, who is rumoured to be in the running to present the next Great British Bake Off, and Yorkshire’s finest local talent including chef consultant and Great British Menu contestant, Stephanie Moon.

Tom Naylor Leyland, Festival organiser, says; “We’re looking for like-minded brands to join us in creating a recipe for success in Malton. Sponsoring the Malton Food Lovers Festival associates your brand with one of the UK’s biggest and best food festival, demonstrating your support for Yorkshire’s finest producers and independent retailers and aligning your business, product or service with a very special event.

“We’re very proud of Malton’s status as Yorkshire’s Food Capital and its reputation as a food tourism destination all year round. This adds value to our partnerships, which reap the benefits of continued brand exposure year round.

“The Malton Food Lovers Festival is organised by Malton CIC, a not-for-profit organisation and sponsorship is essential for the survival of the event. We take great pride in building mutually beneficial relationships with brands who, just like us, care about good, quality food, and we can develop bespoke sponsorship packages based on individual requirements.”

Each year, the Malton Food Lovers Festival attracts tens of thousands of visitors over two-days. It is supported by a regional and national PR and marketing campaign which includes media partnerships, broadcast opportunities, editorials, branding and advertising, as well as a growing database of visitors, producers and local businesses.

Simon Wrench from Inntravel, sponsor of the 2016 Malton Food Lovers Festival, said; “It was a real pleasure for us here at Inntravel – a company specialising in ‘slow holidays’ – to support last year’s Malton Food Lovers Festival, and to sponsor the Inntravel Cookery Theatre.

“High-quality and authentic regional produce is a major highlight of our customers’ ‘slow holiday’ experience, whether they have chosen to visit the hills of Tuscany, the West Coast of Sweden, or our beautiful home county of North Yorkshire. So it’s great to be able to celebrate such a vibrant foodie culture close to home, and to be able to lend our support to the growing band of artisan producers in and around Malton, by being part of such a fabulous event.”
