Lloyd Newcastle MINI supports Marie Curie daffodil appeal
Let me count the daffodils: Lloyd Newcastle MINI is supporting Marie Curie’s The Great Daffodil Appeal by providing an orange mini for a fundraising and awareness drive.
The brightly-hued MINI, decorated in daffodils, is outside Fenwick on Northumberland Street as part of The Great Daffodil Appeal, which aims to help Marie Curie nurses to care for people living with a terminal illness.
Lloyd Newcastle MINI is running a competition with Marie Curie to raise awareness. Participants should pop to see the special Marie Curie car in the city centre, and count how many daffodils there are on its specially-created livery. They then need to post the answer on Lloyd Newcastle MINI’s Facebook or Twitter page for the chance to win a MINI for a weekend.
Chris Longster, MINI Brand Manager at Lloyd Newcastle, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be supporting Marie Curie’s The Great Daffodil Appeal, to help to raise awareness of such a deserving cause. We’re using a bright orange MINI which has been decorated just for Marie Curie to help to create as much interest in their appeal as we can and we hope that as many people as possible get involved, whether they pop out in their lunch break or make a stop while shopping in Newcastle to quickly count the daffodils.”
The Lloyd MINI is on Northumberland Street on March 23.
