FTL Technology Take on Industrial Wastewater for World Water Day

Today (22nd March) is World Water Day – a day set aside each year all about taking action to tackle the global water crisis. This year’s theme is wastewater.

Organised by the United Nations, the international event aims to refocus our attention to the importance of freshwater and in finding ways to ensure more sustainable water management. This year’s theme tackles wastewater, aiming to target the amount of used water that ends up polluting the environment as sewage with help from sealing solution experts such as those at FTL Technology.

According to Samco, wastewater treatment systems currently cost anywhere between $500,000 - $1.5 million. Organisers of World Water Day believe that these costs of wastewater management are greatly outweighed by the benefits to human health, economic development and environmental sustainability.
