She said: “I am really enjoying working here at Nuffield Health Chester, The Grosvenor Hospital and have settled in really quickly.
“The most rewarding part of being a paediatric nurse is working together with children and their families to make experiences they may view as unpleasant to be much more positive.
“Finding a way to effectively communicate with children, providing age appropriate play and distraction to help them through the process is at the very heart of what I do and I am looking forward to providing a caring and effective paediatric service here at Nuffield Health.”
Jenny Gray, Sales and Services Manager at Nuffield Health Chester, added: “Our Lead Paediatric nurse Emma is a highly respected nurse with years of experience in the industry.
“Here at Nuffield Health we realise that bringing your child into hospital can be a very worrying time. Emma’s expertise will be invaluable in supporting children and families who come to Nuffield Health.”
