Great Portland seals ‘highest rent ever’ in Soho at 30 Broadwick Street
The recently completed 30 Broadwick Street is gradually creeping towards capacity after the developers revealed a string of new lettings across its retail and office space, including the highest rent ever achieved in Soho.
According to Great Portland Estates, the remaining 8,900 sq ft of retail space at the building has now been let, with October’s Very Own, Nespresso and Bobbi Brown all agreeing to take on minimum 10 year lease terms to join The Ivy Soho Brasserie at the mixed-use site.
Elsewhere at the development, Exponent Private Equity LLP have signed a deal to occupy the entire sixth floor at Broadwick Street, taking 6,825 sq ft at an annual rent of £750,750 which GPE claim is the highest rent ever in Soho.
It now means four of the six floors at the building are fully let, representing 68% capacity while the developer has experienced ‘good interest’ in the remaining two floors.
Following confirmation of the new lettings, Marc Wilder, Leasing Director said “We continue to see healthy tenant demand for prime, well-located space within our portfolio and together these lettings are testament to the quality of our developments.”
