Lucion Services merges firms to form larger risk management business
Gateshead-headquartered Lucion Services has announced the merger of two of its businesses, Innov8 Safety Solutions and Salbrook Vance, to form an enlarged safety and risk management firm.
Based in the North West region, and headed up by construction safety specialist Jeremy Meredith, the new company will operate under the new brand name Innov8 Risk Consultants.
The expanded Innov8 team, made up of 17 consultants, will provide advice on risk management and regulatory matters, as well as support and guidance on specialist issues, such as asbestos management and contaminated land.
Gateshead’s Lucion Services, which brings together a group of multidisciplinary risk management companies, established Salbrook Vance in 2014 and acquired Merseyside-founded Innov8 a year later.
Commenting on the new venture, Jeremy Meredith said: “Salbrook Vance and Innov8 are firmly established, highly respected and very successful consultancy providers in their own right.
“Over the past 18 months we have seen a rise in demand for extended consultancy services across an entire spectrum of risk management related services.
“The merging of these businesses now places Innov8 in a much stronger position to provide clients with increased levels of expertise from a single point of contact and a wider geographical coverage operating from our 12 offices across the UK and Northern Ireland.
“Innov8 has traditionally maintained a very high profile in the North West and North East, while Salbrook Vance has had a main market presence in the South East.
“The complementary nature of the two businesses will therefore enable us to create a truly national consultancy capable of providing a much broader range of safety and environmental risk services to clients.”
