New member of the team for PK Education
Ricky Sander (29) from Great Barr in Birmingham is the latest recruit to join teacher agency PK Education, marking further expansion for the firm.
Last year, the company celebrated its best ever year in business with turnover exceeding £11million and making 11 new appointments across its for offices, including four at PK Education’s Birmingham office.
Ricky joins the company as a recruitment consultant specialising in the secondary education sector. As part of his role he will be responsible for matching teachers, cover supervisors and teaching assistants to temporary job opportunities at schools throughout Coventry and Warwickshire. This is a new geographical area for PK Education and grows on its existing client base in the West Midlands.
He said: “Having both lived and worked in Coventry and Warwickshire, I know the area well and the needs of the schools there. I am very much looking forward to introducing them to the PK way of working. One of things that attracted me to the role at PK Education was the company’s emphasis on matching schools and education professions; this approach results in far better experience for both teachers, schools and students.
Education recruitment specialist Ricky originally hails from Coventry, having moved to Birmingham last year with his wife. Prior to entering the recruitment industry, Ricky spent a number of years in the social housing and education sector. Outside work, Ricky is a keen footballer and supports Liverpool FC.
Established in 2005, PK Education now employs more than 40 people across the company’s four offices based in Newcastle, Sheffield, Nottingham and Birmingham.
