LEADING Sheffield insolvency business turnaround and recovery practice Graywoods has welcomed a new face to the team as its expansion continues.
Peter Sargent has more than 35 years’ experience in insolvency, having previously run his own practice, which he subsequently sold to a national business turnaround organisation.
He is also a former president of R3, the leading insolvency trade body, and is an active member of INSOL, the world’s leading association for insolvency professionals and a trustee of the Debt Advice Foundation which provides debt advice and uses its profits to provide debt education in schools.
Peter also works at the Welcome Centre in Huddersfield, which is a food bank and provides debt advice.
He will be based at the new Graywoods office in the Media Centre in Huddersfield, where he will be developing a stronger presence for the company in West Yorkshire as well as supporting his colleagues in helping clients to find the best solutions to their financial problems.
“I am delighted to join the Graywoods team and working back in Huddersfield which is my home town,” he said.
“I’m looking forward to preserving businesses and guiding business owners towards viable solutions to their problems.”
Graywoods partner Adrian Graham commented: “We are very pleased that Peter has agreed to join us and know that his great range of experience in the industry will prove invaluable as we look forward to another year of growth.”
