PFA Chief joins celebrations as North West law firm cuts the ribbon on new Preston base

Farleys Solicitors, the North West law firm that began in Blackburn almost 50 years ago, has cut the ribbon on its new Preston office.

The base, which will be the solicitors’ sixth in the North West, is located at Winckley Square in the city centre and was officially opened at an event which welcomed over 150 professionals to celebrate the office’s unveiling.

Also present to officially open the Preston outpost was Chief Executive of the Professional Footballers Association, Gordon Taylor OBE, who was joined by partners, staff and clients fo the officially ribbon cutting ceremony.

The full service law firm already has offices in Manchester, Blackburn, Burnley and Accrington, employing 140 staff, which includes 15 partners, and is planning further growth across the region in the coming years.

Paul Schofield, who is Partner and Head of Farleys’ Fraud & Business Crime department and will be based out of the new offices, commented: “The opening of our Preston office comes following years of consistent growth, and marks the next chapter in Farleys’ success story.

“This is an exciting time for the firm as we expand further across the North West and we look forward to working with the business and local community as we continue to offer a full range of legal services for individuals and businesses from our new office here in the heart of Preston”
