Leading Scottish Installation Company Named Ambassador for Ground-breaking Boiler
One of Scotland’s leading boiler and insulation installers - Union Technical Services Ltd - has announced it has been named as a premier brand ambassador for the next generation of Smart condensing boiler.
Awarded by Flow Products, developers of ground-breaking heating technology, the Glasgow based heating and insulation company will be the sole supplier and installer of the new Flow Eco RF boiler throughout the whole of Scotland.
Union Technical will be launching the innovative boiler on April 12th at The Burnside Hotel, Glasgow, inviting key decision makers from the industry including social housing providers and local authorities. The event will see key speakers, including Norman Kerr OBE, Director of Energy Action Scotland, and Alan Stevenson, Managing Director at Flow Products discussing the key features and benefits of the new boiler and how it will be a new welcome addition to the social housing market helping to address problems associated with fuel poverty and tenant welfare.
Speaking about the new product launch, Owen Coyle, Managing Director at Union Technical said: “The Flow Eco RF is a game changer to the heating market, and as such, we are delighted to be awarded the status of being the only supplier and installer in Scotland of such a ground-breaking product.
“As a young business, our team has over 30 years’ experience in the energy sector and we believe it’s our approach to customer service that has led us to be chosen as a premier brand ambassador on behalf of Flow Products. Customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we strive to go above and beyond to ensure each customer has a great experience dealing with us.”
Described as a 5 in 1 smart boiler, the flexible, easy to install Flow Eco RF can be fitted to most UK central heating systems with simple software changes and unique heat exchange technology meaning the boiler can achieve up to 10% greater efficiency than other A rated boilers.
With integrated smart phone technology, heating can be controlled from all smartphone’s and should there be any problem with the boiler, this can be picked up – and potentially fixed – remotely.
Owen said: “Priced competitively with other boilers available on the market, we are confident that the Flow boiler – with its increased efficiency and advanced technical capabilities – will be the boiler of choice for social housing providers and private landlords. This is because repairs and maintenance for boiler breakdowns, is not only costly, it is also extremely time consuming, and this new boiler will significantly reduce repair and breakdown costs.
“There is no other boiler out there that can offer the same reliability and performance as the Flow ECO RF, meaning housing providers will significantly reduce its repairs demand. And what’s more, tenant’s will also save a significant amount of money on their energy bills.”
Uniquely, the Flow Eco RF comprises only 12 parts, meaning there are less things to go wrong and fewer spares to worry about. With each component designed to the highest quality, Flow Products have reported that in 20 years there has never been a single mechanical failure of the primary heat exchanger.
And the product launch comes on the back of the company recently being awarded Insulation and Fabric Installer of the Year for Scotland in the Energy Efficiency and Healthy Home Awards, in recognition of the work it has done with thousands of homes in Scotland helping people to reduce their energy bills and keep them warm.
Established in 2011, the company has a number of installation teams covering the whole of Scotland, England and Wales. The company offers a range of boilers and insulation measures to homeowners, with grant and finance options available.
