Liverpool’s Easirent acquires 400 new Vauxhalls with £4m funding

Vehicle rental company ER Travel Services Ltd is expanding its fleet with a £4m asset finance facility from Barclays Corporate Bank.

The Liverpool-headquartered firm added 400 new Vauxhall cars to its range, which now boasts 2,800 vehicles from Audi, BMW, Mercedes and other brands.

The family-run company, trading as Easirent, was established in Wigan in 1999 with a fleet of 15 vans and six cars. Its headquarters are now located on the 9th floor of the iconic Royal Liver Building.

Easirent operates across a network of 27 rental branches and employs around 260 people.

Last year, the firm turned over more than £20m.
