Leeds construction firm APP win third Jaguar Land Rover contract with £6m Cardiff project
Leeds-based APP Construction has secured its third contract to to build a new car showroom for Jaguar Land Rover.
The £6m project will see the construction company deliver a new showroom for Stratstone Jaguar Land Rover in Cardiff for Pendragon plc.
Work is due to start on the 26-week project at the end of April. The project team also includes SRA Architects, structural engineer Eastwood & Partners and project manager Synergy LLP.
The scheme involves the redevelopment of the former Citroen garage on a one-hectare site on Hadfield Road in the Welsh capital.
The site will see the existing workshop refurbished and the current showroom demolished to make way for a new build Jaguar Land Rover 18-car display area, with customer handover bays for both brands, service drive-in and valeting facilities.
Earlier this month, a new £5m Swansway Jaguar Centre opened in Crewe, and the contractor is currently on site for Land Rover in Pickering, North Yorkshire building a new £3m showroom and service centre due to open in August.
