Pinsent Masons to open its third international office within 12 months in Madrid
London-headquartered law firm Pinsent Masons has revealed it is planning to open its third international office in under 12 months with its new practice in Madrid.
Set to open in May, the new office will be headed up by six partners who will be focused on the practice’s global specialisms of advanced manufacturing and technology, financial services and infrastructure.
It comes after the law firm, which turned over £382m in 2015/16, opened an energy-focused office in Dusseldorf along with a new Johannesburg office specialising in energy and infrastructure work, as well as the acquisition of Munich firm Mayrhofer & Partner.
Pinsent Masons now has 22 offices spread across the world, with a presence in the UK, China, Europe and elsewhere.
Richard Foley, Senior Partner of Pinsent Masons, commented: “Our vision is to be recognised as an international market leader in the global sectors in which we operate, and we recognise that we can only do that if we are serious about supporting our clients across key commercial centres.
“We have found a team in Madrid which not only exudes quality but also shares our sector-focussed vision. In particular, they share our passion for innovating for and with our clients to redefine the landscape for private practice. We are looking forward to bringing a very different type of law firm to Spain.”
