New telecoms deal powers up Hartlepool energy consultancy
A Hartlepool-based energy consultancy now has the technology in place for further expansion after improving its communication services.
Growing its workforce from six to close to 200 people in just two years, Utility Alliance called on the support of Sunderland-based IT and telecoms specialist CCS to provide a new communications system.
CCS, which provides joined-up communications solutions, has installed a hosted telephony system with full call centre functionally at Utility Alliance’s new head office at Hartlepool Marina.
The new system will offer the energy consultancy a wide range of features including live listen in, voice recording with PCI compliance and audio conference calling. The system is also ideal for mobile workers, allowing them to take the office and their work with them no matter where they are.
Bob Moore, managing director at Utility Alliance, said: “The company has grown rapidly over the last two years and ahead of moving into our new base we identified that we required a telephone system which was more suited to dealing with a higher volume of calls.
“We were delighted to team up with the team from CCS to have the system installed, and it is well structured to cope with an even higher demand of calls as we continue to expand our operation at Utility Alliance.”
Kevin Greener, CCS UK sales manager, said: “Utility Alliance is a real success story for the region. The firm has ambitious plans for growth and therefore needed a telecoms solution that could cope with this and its ever-increasing employee numbers.
“By installing a hosted telephony system, we were able to provide Utility Alliance with a much more cost effective solution as well as enhancing staff productivity at the same time.
“By entering into a long-term partnership, Utility Alliance has recognised our expertise and ability to cope with its aggressive expansion plans.”
Established in 1986, CCS provides a variety of B2B telecommunications and IT technology, including mobile phones, IT products and services, desktop support and telephony platforms.
CCS works with brands such as Russell Hobbs and Puma, as well as many North East-based businesses.
