Guinness Road Trading Estate is in Trafford Park

Three new businesses move into Trafford’s Guinness Road Trading Estate

Asset management firm Hermes Investment Management has signed three new letting deals at Guinness Road Trading Estate.

Terms are now agreed on three industrial units at the Trafford Park-based development totalling 24,719 sq ft.

Roofing products supplier Premium Roofing Supplies snapped up 10,000 sq ft unit, while glass manufacturer Anders Glass took 7,800 sq ft and auto distributor Imexpart 6,500 sq ft.

All three have agreed a 10-year lease.

Matthew Chillingworth, an asset manager at Hermes Investment Management, said: “These recent deals demonstrate the continued ability for Guinness Road Trading Estate to attract tenants ahead of the competition, underlining the strength of park and the quality of the refurbished units.”

JLL and Williams Sillitoe are the scheme’s joint agents.

JLL surveyor Robert Kos said: “The speed at which we’ve agreed these lettings at Guinness Road Trading Estate is further evidence of the significant demand for quality industrial accommodation in the North West.”

Williams Sillitoe director Mark Sillitoe commented: “The Guinness Road Trading Estate is one of the best quality estates on Trafford Park and continues to attract quality occupiers to the site.”

Existing companies at the trading estate include truck and trailer parts distributor Universal Components, certification firm SGS, retail support services provider Cennox and Grono Lawns, which acquired a 9,832 sq ft unit in October last year.

Guinness Road Trading Estate comprises 235,000 sq ft of industrial units.

Having signed the three new deals, Hermes Investment Management said there is now just one 15,389 sq ft double unit left available.
