APP Construction gets into gear with £2m Sheffield Peugeot Citroen contract
APP Construction is set to begin work next week on the £2m refurbishment of the Robins & Day car dealership in Sheffield for Peugeot Citroen Retail UK Ltd.
The 28-week project involves revamping the ground and first floor accommodation in Hillsborough together with an extension to form an enlarged workshop with wet and dry bays.
The separate single storey used car sales building will also be refurbished.
The project team also includes architect Dixon Dawson and structural engineer SA Consulting.
This will be APP Construction’s second scheme with Peugeot Citroen Retail. The Leeds-based contractor is currently on site completing the second phase of a Robins & Day showroom in Salford, Manchester.
John White, APP Construction director, said: “Our reputation within the automotive sector continues to attract new clients as well securing repeat business with some of the sector’s foremost brands.
“We’re very pleased to have secured our second scheme for Robins & Day and Peugeot Citroen and look forward to working in our home county of Yorkshire again.”
