Developer St. Modwen sells off 76,000 sq ft Sunset Business Park in Bolton
Regeneration firm St. Modwen has sold the 5.4-acre Sunset Business Park in Kearsley, Bolton.
The developer said the 76,000 sq ft site has been acquired by an undisclosed buyer for an undisclosed sum.
St. Modwen added Sunset Business Park to its property portfolio in 2011.
Current tenants of the scheme, located 20 minutes from Manchester and fronting the A666, include telecoms giant Vodafone and film and media facilities business Panalux.
David Nuttall, development manager at St. Modwen, said: “Having managed the estate for six years, reduced the voids we inherited and pushed the rents forward, the next logical step was for St. Modwen to exit.
“We can now focus our attention on our other assets where we can continue to add value through development and active management as well as looking to bring in further development opportunities.”
St. Modwen was represented in the deal by property consultants WSB and law firm Pinsent Masons.
