Good news flows for leading insurance drainage specialist

Auger, the market leading independent drainage and water supply pipe specialist serving the UK insurance industry, has continued its expansion by creating more jobs and moving into new state-of-the-art premises on the Wirral.

The company aims to create further jobs as its ambitious growth takes off from its impressive £1.2million purpose-built headquarters spanning 7,000 sq ft in Wallasey, Merseyside, from where it employs more than 80 people.

David Brewster, managing director of Auger, said: “We’ve not moved very far from our previous site in Wallasey but it’s certainly a long way in terms of facilities and technology.

“We’re committed to our community, the people and the area where we have built our business. We see a great future here and it offers everything we need as we grow further. Our staff are now able to use the very latest in Cloud-based technology and our own bespoke systems to ensure we deliver for our customers, whatever it takes.

Auger has recently been shortlisted in the British Insurance Awards category for Claims Initiative of the Year Outsourced Partner, with the final ceremony staged at the Royal Albert Hall on July 5.

As an industry-leading specialist, Auger’s highly trained teams complete drainage investigation and repair with minimum fuss; and repair leaking underground water supply pipe system in a single site visit in the majority of cases.

The company handles drainage and water claims across the whole of the UK and is able to track all claims from inception through to completion, keeping in real time contact with its 50-strong team of engineers using bespoke IT and state of the art technology, ensuring the customer is continually updated and at the heart of the processes from start to finish.

The company, founded in 1994, has moved into its new premises in Cross Lane from its previous location at Scotia House, Kelvinside, Wallasey.
