CoolKit develops refrigerated conversion for VW Crafter Van
Innovative CoolKit has developed the first refrigerated conversion kit for the new Volkswagen Crafter Panel Van.
The unveiling comes hot on the heels of the announcement that the company has become a Volkswagen Alliance Partner – giving the dealer network even more confidence in the quality of the company’s conversions.
The new EU6 2.0 TDI engine, makes the new Crafter 3% more efficient that the previous model, with service intervals increased to 30,000 miles. The vehicle comes with a 3-year, 100,000 miles’ warranty which also covers any factory-fitted extras.
CoolKit is the first conversion company to design and produce a refrigeration kit for the new model, demonstrating their speed and route to market.
Cameron Javed, Sales Director at CoolKit, said: “We have created the perfect fridge van conversion for this vehicle.
“Using state-of-the-art design software and machinery, together with the expert knowledge of our design engineers, we have created a brand-new set of insulated panels which we can now use as the basis to develop bespoke conversions for customers.
“As always, we are one step ahead in the refrigerated industry, with innovation and passion for quality being our core values. Our fridge van conversions are leading the way in the UK industry, with unique characteristics and accreditations our customers can trust.”
As part of their Volkswagen Alliance Partner status, CoolKit will now be featured as a Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Recognised Converter and has been issued with the accreditation following a rigorous inspection.
