Durham Dales Centre launch networking event
The Dales Centre BizBuzz Network is for creative businesses, artists, designer-makers, and those working in the tourism, heritage, and food and drink sectors. The club will meet on the third Thursday of every month.
Our Network events are designed to link you to opportunties and give you the space to test and stretch your ideas in the company of liked-minded people.
The Dales Centre staff are keen to meet people who can make good use of its location and facilities to build businesses that will make the dales a fantastic place to engage in the arts, eat great food and become immersed in its heritage so it’s the perfect place to gather.
The club will be launched by Jane Shaw of Durham Creatives on 15th June with subsequent meetings scheduled for 20nd July and 17th August.
To get things moving, Jane will facilitate a conversation around some key themes including:
The art of business networking Establishing what you want from the network Thinking about possible collaborations with the Dales Centre for mutual benefit
There’ll be plenty of room for some creative thinking about shaping-up BizBuzz to meet members’ needs too: as Steven Johnson, the author of ‘Where Good Ideas Come From’ writes, “innovative networks must teeter on the brink of chaos”. So why not join us in that “fruitful realm between order and anarchy” to help make Weardale a place where great businesses start and grow!
