George F. White makes Newcastle city centre expansion

North East property group George F. White has launched a new office in Newcastle city centre, opening a base at Hoults Yard Ouseburn.

Established nearly 40 years ago, the business now employs more than 120 people in eight locations from the Scottish Borders down to North Lincolnshire.

Sally Hart, Operations Director at the Group, said: “Opening our Hoults Yard office is a key part of our strategic growth objective in the region, as we look to secure more commercial work and expand our team.

“By providing a base in a very well connected enterprise and digital hub in Newcastle, it will provide much more opportunity for commercial business, particularly in the energy and planning sectors.”

Sally added: “The Hoults Yard base is significant because although our roots are rural and this remains a core strength, we are very much focused on growing our other, more commercial services.

“Of course, our traditional sectors are still important to us but we are now widening our scope to reflect the ever-changing landscape for businesses like us, who provide significant specialist consultancy services in a varied range of sectors.

“It’s a great place to be and it also provides a better work/life balance for the team who often spend a lot of time commuting to our more rural offices from their homes which are closer to the City.”
