Mazars extends ‘strong cultural and strategic’ partnership with Yorkshire County Cricket Club
The Yorkshire County Cricket Club and international accountancy and advisory firm Mazars have signed an extension to their current partnership.
Mazars has been the principal partner with YCCC since 2014. Now in its fifth consecutive year, the partnership will run until the end of 2018, with the option to extend to 2019.
Mazars’ renewed commitment will see the firm continue with its major rights package, which has helped develop its brand awareness across its core markets in the UK.
Activities include client and prospect entertaining, which has provided opportunities to engage with the Yorkshire business community, as well as the exposure associated with appearing on all of the players’ match wear and training apparel.
Andy Dawson, YCCC’s commercial director, said: “The longevity of this partnership demonstrates that it has been a successful relationship that continues to be mutually fruitful for both parties.
“We have got to know the Mazars team very well over the years and we’re delighted to continue to share this journey with a business and people that share similar values to our own.”
Having started as a single accountant in 1940, Mazars now operates out of offices in 79 countries around the globe, employing 18,000 professionals.
In the UK, Mazars has over 1700 employees and around 140 partners and provides a broad range of services to clients of all sizes, from SME’s to mid-caps and global companies, as well as startups and public organisations.
Ian Wrightson, partner and UK Head of People & Culture at Mazars, commented: “We are proud to be the principal partner of the Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
“It’s a really strong cultural and strategic fit, with both of us having a clear focus on talent and excellence. I’m delighted to be extending our relationship again for next year.”
