Novomatic opens Europe’s biggest betting shop

Novomatic has achieved yet another milestone by teaming up with its subsidiary, Admiral, to open a state-of-the-art betting shop in Europe. The betting premises which has been dubbed the ADMIRAL Arena Prater is said to be the biggest sports betting establishment even built in Europe, and Novomatic is proud that this facility will deliver the next level sports betting as well as entertainment.

ADMIRAL Arena Prater is strategically located in Viennese Prater amusement park where gamblers and those looking for entertainment can easily access it. During the launch, there were some 3,500 guests in attendance who officially presided over the function. Among those who were in attendance included Niki Lauda who is the current F1 Legend and company ambassador.

The sports arena sits on a 1,350 square metres piece of land. It boasts of an American sports bar design which houses over 70 different betting terminals. In addition to this, the venue is equipped with a 42 square metre LED wall which is expected to project sports and games every single day.

The LED wall is said to have been designed and developed by Novomatic software division. The technology used in building it allows for splitting into multiple screens. What this means is that if Championship Leagues are playing, they can all be broadcasted simultaneously on the same wall since the screen can be slip into different sections. Again, this broadcasting has never been seen anywhere else in Europe. It is expected to change how betting is done at betting shops.

It’s an entertainment venue

The venue will open business at 9am and close at midnight. However, betting is not the only service which they plan to offer their customers. In fact, according to Novomatic, this premise will also offer entertainment in form of games. They already have a Red Bull Racing Seat HD simulation game for customers who are into playing games.

Food is also offered

Not only is this a one-stop shop for all your betting and entertainment need, but it is also equipped with eating facilities which serve sumptuous meals to please the palates of those who will be using the venue as their regular betting casino.
