Liverpool schools and community groups set to benefit from School Lettings Solutions partnerships

An organisation that helps schools to generate vital additional income by managing their facilities and matching them with local community groups is launching in Liverpool.

School Lettings Solutions, one of the fastest growing sport and leisure companies in the country, partners with schools, academies and colleges to fully manage their facilities at zero cost to the organisations, while linking them with local community groups in need of venues.

The business is expanding across the country and is looking to sign up schools in Liverpool, which are currently facing hundreds of thousands of pounds of funding cuts. Six schools have already signed up. Through its partnerships, School Lettings Solutions aims to help thousands more community organisations, from sports clubs to theatre schools, access facilities they couldn’t before.

School Lettings Solutions currently works with over 100 schools nationwide, helping them to make the best use of their facilities. They are already working with Holy Family Catholic High School, King David High School and Enterprise South Liverpool Academy and hope to get many more on their books to provide local communities with better access to sport, education and leisure opportunities on their sites.

Suzanne Loyden, business manager at King David High School, said: “While working with SLS over the last couple of years, we have found the team to be well-organised, professional, approachable and flexible.

“Through their support, we have significantly increased the range of activities that we are now able to offer at the campus, both in the evenings and during the holidays. This partnership is of great benefit to the school and also to the wider community.”

Director of School Lettings Solutions, Scott Warrington, said: “We’re really looking forward to partnering with more schools and academies in Liverpool. There is huge potential to provide more places for people of all ages to come together, which can only be a positive thing for local communities.

“At the same time, our partnerships provide a new stream of income for schools as their budgets come under more and more pressure.

“If you’re a school or a community group who think you’ll be able to benefit from our partnerships; we look forward to hearing from you.”
