Matt Barnett named as site manager for Barratt’s new Plymouth development

Plymouth housebuilder Barratt Homes has appointed Matt Barnett as site manager for its Redwood Heights development in Plympton

Hailing from Gunnislake, Matt will oversee construction at the 190-home site, working closely with all those involved in the process - including subcontractors and suppliers. He has played a key role within the industry for 22 years and says one of his priorities is to deliver quality homes and encourage pride in the job.

Matt, whose role will also see him guide apprentices working on the site, said: “Bringing the best out in people is a rewarding part of the job.”

Commenting on progress at Redwood Heights he said: “It’s shaping up really well and set to be a brilliant addition to the local area once it’s complete. The first road has just been tarmacked and the foundations of many homes have been laid.”

Barratt Homes sales director Sara Parker added: “We think very carefully when appointing site managers for our new developments because they are crucial to the success of these important new communities.
