AllBright has lined up Cath Kidston and Liz Earle for its first founders event
AllBright, the funding and support platform for the UK’s female entrepreneurs, has unveiled the speaker line-up for their first festival of female founders to be held later this year.
UK luminaries including Cath Kidston, Liz Earle, Martha Lane-Fox and Samantha Cameron have been called up as headline speakers for the six day long festival taking place between 26 and 29 June in London and 3 and 4 July in Manchester.
The two city FounderHER Festival programme, which is targeted at founders, investors and entrepreneurs, will include talks from business experts as well as practical workshops, panels and networking events.
Debbie Wosskow, Co-Founder of AllBright commented: “When we started AllBright, we pledged to help female founders get the advice and support needed to launch and scale their businesses. FoundHER has been created with this in mind.
“It is the first festival of its kind and has been designed to give female founders across the UK access to learn and hear from our network of successful business experts.”
Anna Jones, Co-Founder of AllBright added: “FoundHER is not another stuffy business conference. It is truly a interactive, inspirational and educational festival.
“We have designed it to be immersive, informative and fun. We want every festival goer to leave feeling fulfilled and excited about the opportunities available to them.”
FoundHER builds on the work AllBright has been carrying out with female founders and entrepreneurs across the UK, with its angel activity supplemented by a crowdfunding platform for female founded businesses and educational resources aimed at boosting female entrepreneurial activity.
The organisation has already backed FemTech startup Elvie earlier this year and supported a crowdfunding campaign in organic baby food business Piccolo.
