The Fine Bedding Co hits back of the net with Northwest Football Awards sponsorship deal

A Trafford-based global bedding company has been announced at the new official sponsor of the Women’s Player of the Year at the annual Northwest Football Awards, which celebrate the region’s brightest and best in the game. The announcement comes ahead of the rescheduled launch party for the 2017 Northwest Football Awards – which now takes place on Wednesday, 14th June at El Gato Negro, Manchester.

The Fine Bedding Company, with its head office at Trafford Park, is a fourth-generation British business, boasting over 100 years of innovation in the design and manufacture of bedding, has agreed a partnership to sponsor the Fine Bedding Company Women’s Player of the Year 2017.

The bedding specialists make duvets, pillows, protectors, mattress toppers and enhancers in the finest fabrics and the most technologically innovative materials from around the world, all designed to ensure a good night’s sleep. Sleep is a crucial element in sports performance, so the partnership with the Northwest Football Awards is an obvious one for the company.

Over the coming months, thousands of fans, from the elite of the game, to grassroots fans, from the community and businesses – will vote for a succession of major honours, including the Women’s Player of the Year. It’s been an amazing year for women’s football in the region, with Manchester City Women adding significantly to their trophy cabinet with three trophies in the past eight months.

The Northwest Football Awards (NWFA) celebrates the region’s footballing elite and pays tribute to those who have achieved footballing excellence both on and off the field in 2017, recognising the Men’s and Women’s football leagues from non-league though to Premier League. All awards will be announced and presented at the Northwest Football Awards, hosted by the BBC’s Dan Walker at The Point, Emirates Old Trafford on Monday, 13th November.
