Corporate team clinches hat trick of awards shortlistings
hlw Keeble Hawson’s corporate team is a finalist in three categories of the high-profile Sheffield City Region Dealmakers Awards 2017.
The prestigious nominations are for the National/International Deal of the Year where the firm represented Sheffield rail depot equipment manufacturer, Mechan Group, in its sale to French rail transport specialist, CIM.
The practice is also shortlisted in the Mid-Market Deal of the Year where it acted for the funders of the management team of Sheffield-based healthtech firm, UK Medical, which employs around 35 people, in an MBO
To complete the hat trick, hlw Keeble Hawson - whose 16-strong team has completed 25 mergers and acquisitions in the last six months alone - is in the line-up of the Law Firm of the Year category. The awards recognise and reward the excellence of corporate finance accountants, lawyers, bankers and other funders. Firms are shortlisted as a result of the number of online nominations received and the winners are decided by a judging panel of independent experts. hlw Keeble Hawson managing partner, Paul Trudgill, said: “To be shortlisted in three categories of these highly coveted awards reinforces the depth and breadth of expertise of our team which is one of the biggest of its kind in the region.
“Our clients span corporates, SMEs, entrepreneurs and individuals and being prominently recognised in the finals reinforces our reputation as a highly-respected and independent regionally focused firm.”
The Sheffield City Region Dealmakers Awards 2017 will be held this Thursday at the Mercure St Paul’s Hotel & Spa, Sheffield. For more information, visit https://www.insidermedia.com/event/sheffield-city-region-dealmakers-awards.
