Pilgrim Foodservice has appetite for One’s social media
Integrated communications agency, One, has been appointed to launch the social media presence of foodservice supplier, Pilgrim Foodservice.
Based in Boston, Lincolnshire, the family-owned firm, established in 1980, supplies more than 5,000 high quality products including chilled, ambient and frozen foods, fresh produce and butchery and cleaning & disposable products.
Whilst the company has been a client of One since October 2016, the marketing team wanted expert support to set up, launch and manage its social media channels.
Charles Bateman, managing director at Pilgrim Foodservice, comments: “As a company, we were keen to start conversations with new B2B audiences and trusted One to drive our social media presence effectively.
“We were so impressed with the fantastic work produced by the creative and client services teams at One that adding social media to their remit was an easy decision.”
Alex Hamilton, head of PR and Social at One adds: “We were keen to work with Pilgrim to communicate on a B2B level using Twitter and Facebook. By ensuring that all content appeals to its unique target audiences, we can help it to build relationships with potential new customers, and thus produce fantastic return on investment.
“Pilgrim is just one of our many clients that have chosen to make the most of our fully integrated offering which enables us to deliver on all marketing requirements whatever they may be.”
One is an integrated agency offering advertising, design, digital, PR and social services to a range of B2B and B2C clients, including Hoover, Blum, Taylor Wimpey, United Utilities and York Racecourse.
