New luxury champagne bar to bring 42 jobs to Cramlington

Luxury champagne bar and restaurant Glass House is launching a new site in Cramlington next month, creating 42 local jobs in the process.

Opening in the Manor Walks leisure quarter, the 7,650sq ft bar and 120 seater will join a host of other restaurants onsite including Nando’s, Frankie & Bennys and Prezzo.

Glass House owners Mark and Kelly Nigrelli say they’re hoping to build on the success of their first outlet, Glass House Newcastle, which opened in December 2014.

Owners Mark and Kelly Nigrelli said: “As a family run business we are really excited about introducing the Glass House product to Cramlington.

“As a thriving upcoming area with many new developments featuring across the town, we saw massive potential for sharing Glass House’s customer service and quality products with the local area.

“We have acquired a fantastic team applying the experience of our other venues that will fit with our brand and offer a quality affordable dining and drinking experience for our customers.

“Our relaxed atmosphere mixed with well-appointed decoration is something we consider an exciting addition to the Cramlington leisure scene.

“We’re looking forward to becoming Cramlington’s leading dining and drinking venue and welcoming our new customers throughout the rest 2017 and beyond.”

Jacqui Kell, Chief Executive of Arch, added: “We are delighted to have secured Glass House as an anchor tenant for Manor Walks Shopping Centre as this letting will greatly enhance the leisure quarter.

“Already one of the most successful shopping centres in the North East, the aim is to make Manor Walks even bigger and better.

“Attracting businesses like Glass House is fantastic as they are a great asset for the centre and will help cement it as the place to go for leisure and entertainment in Northumberland.

“Securing tenants such as Glass House not only creates additional jobs in Cramlington, but enhances the choice of quality venues for local people to eat and drink in the town centre.”
