BOFA International Targets Global Growth with New Appointment
Poole-based BOFA International, world leaders in industrial process fume and dust extraction technology, has appointed Haydn Knight as Director of Sales and Marketing.
Haydn joins BOFA with considerable international business experience and will be driving the award-winning company to build on a period of remarkable growth by expanding its reach into new markets and new territories.
The company started in 1987 as a small family business and has since developed into a global leader of technology that removes hazardous airborne contaminants created during industrial processes, such as laser marking and PCB manufacture. It employs over 200 people at its Poole headquarters, with offices in Germany and the USA, and serves a diverse range of sectors in over 100 countries.
“BOFA is a great example of British manufacturing success – as evidenced by our recent Queen’s Award for Innovation – and we are now perfectly positioned to continue expanding the reach of our technologies into new markets, across the world,” comments Haydn.
“My role is to plan and implement a growth strategy that will leverage the company’s technology leadership and its strong focus on customer service to create opportunities in new sectors and new territories.”
BOFA recently celebrated its 30th anniversary and has just received a Queen’s Award for Innovation to add to its Queen’s Award for Export in 2012. The company has grown rapidly over the last two years, following a management buy-out, and currently sells 90% of its products overseas.
