AEI Cables appoints Stuart to lead growth

Leading North East cable supplier AEI Cables has appointed Stuart Dover as Commercial Manager to lead the company into future growth.

Stuart, who has worked for Birtley-based AEI Cables for two decades, steps up to the position from various roles including business development manager for the rail and transport market.

As Commercial Manager, Stuart has been tasked with growing the business and helping customers utilise AEI’s diverse range of products.

Stuart, who has been involved in the sector all his working life, will work with existing and new customers in the various markets within which AEI operates, including construction, industrial, fire protection, defence, mining and rail.

He said: “AEI Cables supplies customers across the globe and I will be working closely with them in all markets to understand their requirements and make sure we provide what they need for the future.”

All AEI Cables’ products are supplied with approvals from independent bodies including BASEC and LPCB covering design, manufacture and supply.

It also holds approvals from organisations such as Lloyds, the MoD, Network Rail and LUL, and works to international standards around the world including American and Canadian approval systems.
