Superhero Saturday at The Broadway

On Saturday 1st July, The Broadway shopping centre in Bradford will be welcoming the much loved Disney Junior and Tiny Pop superheroes PJ Masks, as part of the Bradford Literature Festival’s Superhero Day.

It promises to be an exciting event for kids from Bradford and across the region, as there will be a chance to meet the TV stars Catboy, Owlette and Gekko and watch them recreate the magic of PJ Masks live.

Between 11am and 3:30pm there will be five narration sessions where the superheroes will be acting out a number of stories. These sessions will be at 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm.

This is a free event and there is no pre-booking, so the sessions will work on a first come, first served basis. If the first session is full, then you will be able to come back to any of the later sessions where there might be more space.

Ian Ward, general manager of The Broadway, says: ’Here at The Broadway, we love putting on free events like this for the families of Bradford. This event will be an exciting opportunity for kids to come and meet the star superheroes of PJ Masks up close.

‘It’s set to be a magical day, where the crime-fighting kids Catboy, Owlette and Gekko will be bringing the excitement of the popular TV Show from the screen to Bradford.

‘We are delighted to be putting on this special superhero Saturday showing, and we invite families to bring their children along to experience an action-packed day of fun and adventure, free of charge.’

Syima Aslam, MD & Artistic Director at Bradford Literary Festival, says: ‘We are delighted to be working with The Broadway this year and very excited to have PJ Masks as part of our annual Superheroes Day. At Bradford Literature Festival we do all we can to work with other positive and forward thinking organisations in Bradford and as such we are thrilled that The Broadway has decided to play a part in the festival. We are sure that families will have a fantastic time meeting PJ Masks at the shopping centre and look forward to working more closely with The Broadway in future years.’
