An Amsterdam workspace brand has opened a hub in Teddington
Space, the Amsterdam-headquartered creative workspace network, is adding a new flexible workspace hub in Teddington to its growing global portfolio of properties.
The Teddington development totals 16,900 sq ft and will be Spaces’ first presence in the Richmond upon Thames town, with its location ideally positioned to take advantage of nearby science-led industries in the area.
Marketed as a ‘creative workspace’, the facility includes the usual flexible workspace, totalling 13,000 sq ft, which is available on flexible terms in a range of sizes, shared space, networking areas and four meeting rooms.
Richard Morris, UK Chief Executive Officer, Spaces, commented: “Our new Teddington location provides a calm, creative place where people can grow their business in an inspirational atmosphere.
“It’s also perfectly positioned for networking with Teddington’s renowned science-led industries such as the nearby National Physical Laboratory.
“The centre has been designed to cater to the varying needs of today’s professionals and provides a range of space for meetings, networking, collaborating with colleagues or quiet writing.”
The new opening marks another step in Spaces’ growing UK portfolio where it already operates facilities in Gerrards Cross, Marlow, Glasgow and Liverpool, and is planning to open a new Brighton property amongst others shortly.
Spaces moves into the market also reflect the booming demand for shared and flexible workspace in London with even big players such as British Land moving into the space recently, reflecting the changing requirements of the market where even bigger tenants are looking towards more flexible leasing arrangements.
