Christeyns crowned Manufacturer of the Year at Bradford Means Business Awards

Laundry chemical manufacturer Christeyns has cause for celebration as it was announced Manufacturer of the Year at the 7th annual Bradford Means Business Awards last week.

The awards ceremony, held at Aagrah Midpoint in Bradford on Thursday 6 July, honours the region’s top performers and their contribution to business, community and the surrounding area.

The Manufacturer of the Year award is presented to an outstanding company operating in a sector that is the backbone of the Bradford district’s economy. Judges were looking for a record of success, innovation and growth, together with future potential and a positive impact on the community.

Nick Garthwaite, Managing Director at Christeyns, commented: “I am absolutely delighted that Christeyns has won the Manufacturer of the Year category and against such a strong shortlist. My congratulations go to everyone at Christeyns Bradford, for their fantastic team effort and commitment.”

The firm was also awarded “Highly Commended” in other categories including Employer of the Year.

Christeyns UK is part of the Christeyns group, based in Ghent, Belgium. Its principal focus is the manufacture and supply of detergents and supporting chemicals for the commercial laundry sector across the UK in which it is the market leader.
