Howzat? Local housebuilder meets cricket club's appeal for new kit
Continuing its support of the communities in which it builds, leading housebuilder, Barratt Homes Yorkshire West, has provided Morley Cricket Club with the funds needed for new training kit for its adult team. The cricket club is close by to Barratt Homes’ St Andrew’s View development in the town.
Morley Cricket Club will benefit from Barratt Homes’ sponsorship by replacing their out-dated training kit with a brand new one. The club is run solely by volunteers, so it relies on sponsorships like these to keep the team running and to be able to provide the best facilities for the community. Emma Barker, Sales Adviser at Barratt Homes, recently visited the grounds to show the housebuilder’s support.
Jeremy Hudson, Committee Member at Morley Cricket Club, commented: “I’m thrilled St Andrew’s View has sponsored our club this year – the new training kit looks brilliant and the team looks great in it! We rely on the help of the local community to support the club, so we’re thrilled with this contribution from Barratt Homes.”
Emma commented: “Morley Cricket Club is an important part of the village’s community, encouraging sport across all ages. We are really glad to have been able to sponsor the team this year, and hope to continue to support the club in the future.”
St Andrew’s View in Morley is a sought-after development of three and four bedroom homes, which is proving very popular with properties selling fast. The development offers a great range of local amenities with excellent transport links via the M62. Homes are available to purchase from £229,995.
