Morgan Sindall has delivered a new £9.7m care home in Enfield
Morgan Sindall has completed work on a new £9.7m care home in north east Enfield delivered on behalf of Enfield Council.
The new facility, which replaces the existing Coppice Wood Lodge and Bridge House properties, will provide new homes for 70 elderly people who are currently in residential care.
Situated on Old Road, the development includes 70 bedrooms, 17 communal rooms, a landscaped garden, salon as well as a modern kitchen, and features safety features and accessibility options that meet Care Quality Commission standards.
The property itself will also help to boost social care in the borough with the new facility boasting more units than the previous two home combined.
Neil Franklin, area director for Morgan Sindall, said: “Real care and attention has gone into every detail of the design and delivery of this home to ensure residents enjoy an outstanding experience.
“We’re delighted to have been a part of that process and to have delivered this fantastic development for Enfield Council.
“The new care home includes a number of great features that will ensure staff are able to offer residents first-class care and attention. While facilities like a hair salon and landscaped gardens will create a pleasant, stimulating and convenient environment for people living at the home.”
