New 'progressive' coffee shop is launching this month in Seven Dials
A so-called ‘progressive coffee shop’ concept devised by Kim Mahony Hargreaves and Boris Becker (not who you think it is!) is to launch a new venue in Seven Dials this month.
Boki at 20 Earlham Street in the West End shopping district is set to officially open on 31 July after a successful soft launch and will be the brand’s first permanent site.
Housed within a 1,300 sq ft unit, the 36-cover cafe will feature a fast service espresso bar at the entrance, while its innards will features an all-day social area designed by Moscow-based design firm, Melspace.
Kim Mahony Hargreaves, co-founder of Boki, said: “We’ve worked hard to provide an innovative food and drink concept blending together quality, creativity and design.
“We’re delighted to be making our central London debut in the like-minded Seven Dials community. We are surrounded by other brands and businesses admired for their renowned offering and boutique approach, and we’re very excited to be located here.”
Julia Wilkinson, Portfolio & Group Restaurant Strategy Executive at Shaftesbury, added: “Boki’s unique offer and impressive interior makes it a fantastic addition to Seven Dials.
“We have no doubt their first West End coffee shop will thrive and make a great contribution to Seven Dial’s line-up of high quality cafés, bars, restaurants and boutiques.”
