Big Partnership's North West team

Big Partnership celebrates first year in Manchester with £300k growth

Marketing communications agency Big Partnership has marked its first year in Manchester with a raft of new client wins.

The Scottish firm has seen its client portfolio increase 25% since launching in the city last year, securing contracts worth over of £300k in the last six months alone.

Big Partnership’s Manchester team also landed clients in new sectors, including property, construction, renewable energy, financial services, hospitality and utilities.

Among them is a 12-month contract with architecture and building consultancy practice AHR and an appointment with manufacturer Steibel Eltron’s UK division.

To accommodate the growth, Big Partnership has welcomed two new faces at its Manchester office.

Ben Pummell joined the firm from Smith & Smith PR in the role of senior account executive, while Lucy Dobson was hired as an account executive from an in-house PR role with a tech sector company.

The head of North West operations at Big Partnership, Sarah Lawless, said: “It is brilliant to see just how far we have come since opening our doors in Manchester this time last year.

“We have developed a fantastic client base and have grown the business on the strength of the results we have been delivering. That is a testament to the talented team we have built here and Ben and Lucy’s appointment will bolster us even further.”

She added: “This is such an exciting time for our Manchester office. We have big plans for growth in the North West and it’s great to see we have made such a strong start in our first twelve months.”

Founded in 2000, today Big Partnership employs 100 people across offices in Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Dundee and Fife.
