Almost £900,000 investment sees Mobile Mini relocate and expand its South Wales branch
Mobile Mini, a leading hirer of portable site accommodation and secure storage containers, with its UK headquarters in Stockton-on-Tees, has relocated and expanded its South Wales branch.
The move comes following close to a £900,000 investment, after a period of significant growth within the South Wales area for the Company, which has 16 branches nationwide, including branches in the North East at Middlesbrough and Sunderland.
Having outgrown its original site due to a significant surge in demand for its services over recent years, Mobile Mini’s new Bridgend branch will offer many advantages to its customers, such as quicker turnaround times and great product availability, while also allowing the company to maintain its reputation for excellence in customer service.
Housed on a four-acre site, the new branch consists of modern office units for employees to work from, two workshops with modern spray-painting equipment, shot blasting facilities, improved storage space for units, parking bays for delivery vehicles and an enhanced self-storage facility.
All 19 employees have been relocated from the original site and will also enjoy the benefits of a new, modern workspace.
“Everyone is delighted with the new branch, as the office employees have brand new offices to work in and the yard have brand new workshops, enabling them to work more efficiently and effectively,” said Ian Park, Branch Manager at Bridgend.
“It really is a great place to work and you can see everyone loves coming to work each day. This move really has helped to increase employee engagement levels.”
Relocating the Bridgend branch is one of several investments made by Mobile Mini over the last 12 months, with the Company having recently invested £1m into its range of industry-leading, energy-efficient, Groundhog mobile welfare units. Mobile Mini also recently announced that it had invested £250,000 in the training and development of its staff throughout 2016.
Speaking about the growth currently experienced by the Company, Managing Director Chris Morgan, said: “These are exciting times at Mobile Mini, as we are going through this period of investment and growth, whilst still striving to maintain our reputation for exceeding customer expectations.
“We are currently reviewing our facilities in a number of branches to ensure we are able to support our growth plans and we expect that to lead to further branch relocations in the future.”
