Local housing development holds celebrations for teddy bear’s picnic day
Five star housebuilder, David Wilson Homes, has been celebrating teddy bears picnic day by inviting a local school to their Grey Towers Village development in Nunthorpe.
The year 1 class at Chandlers Ridge Primary School joined the David Wilson team for an afternoon of food and fun. Providing the school with £100 in supermarket vouchers, a picnic was set up for the children to enjoy a different lunchtime setting while learning about the Grey Towers Village development.
As well as bringing along their favourite teddies the children were also able to take away their own David Wilson dog teddy as a thankyou for attending their teddy bear’s picnic.
Steven Ball, Site Manager at Grey Towers Village, commented: “Taking the opportunity to celebrate teddy bear’s picnic day with a local school was a privilege to us all. David Wilson Homes always looks to support the communities in the areas we build developments in so giving something back to the local schools, and working with Chandlers Ridge Primary school made for a great day.”
Based in the heart of Nunthorpe, Grey Towers Village offers a stylish collection of three, four and five bedroom homes in a wide variety of designs. It combines the best of village life with the conveniences of modern living.
