New appointment and increased shareholding for North West IFA
West Lancashire firm Acumen Financial Partnership has grown its team with the appointment of a new financial planning co-ordinator.
Lucy Molina, aged 22, from Rufford, is making the switch to the financial sector having spent five years in retail services, and is taking up a trainee position within the company.
This appointment follows the news that Acumen director Jon Landy has increased his shareholding in the business to 35%, further consolidating his commitment to the company and its future.
Acumen can look back on a period of real growth since its Burscough headquarters were officially opened by West Lancs MP Rosie Cooper in March 2016.
In that time the business has created four new jobs and grown its team to 16 members of staff.
Angela Maher, Acumen’s managing director, said: “It’s enormously important for me and Jon that we continue to grow Acumen and develop it as an independent, forward-thinking, values-driven business.
“Jon’s increased shareholding and the addition of our 16th staff member marks the next chapter in a very successful story.”
Director Jon Landy said: “I’m delighted to have increased my share in the company and I look forward to an exciting future for this business which I so passionately believe in.
“The addition of Lucy to the team shows our commitment to growing the business and making sure it remains attractive to bright and ambitious young talent.”
