Restaurant operator The Ivy to create 125 jobs with new Harrogate brasserie

London-based restaurant operator, The Ivy, is set to create 125 jobs with the opening of a new venue in Harrogate this November.

Operating under The Ivy Collection banner, the Harrogate brasserie will be located on 7-9 Parliament Street which was previously the Edinburgh Woolen Mill.

The all-day dining bar and restaurant will open its doors after the refurbishment of the historic building.

The new Ivy Collection site, to be known locally as the Ivy, will have approximately 135 covers inside and 48 al fresco on the garden roof terrace.

The brasserie will serve breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, light snacks and dinner, overseen by group chef director, Mark Askew.

Rodney Prosper, general manager of The Ivy Harrogate, said: “We’re delighted to have chosen Harrogate as one of the very first Ivy Collection establishments outside of London.

“This location was handpicked and we are committed to investing in the Harrogate community with the employment of 125 people. We can’t wait to serve our classic British menu to guests.”
