Staycationers Enjoy Carden Park This Summer
A quintessentially English vineyard within 1000 acres of leisure resort has announced the completion of phase two of its £4 million Restoration Project in time for summer.
Ranked as one of Britain’s great country estates, Carden Park has completed the last of its 4 luxury suites which are designed with the only starlight ceilings over the bed and bath in Cheshire and overlook views of the 17th hole of the Nicklaus Golf Course aswell as the lake. All of the 198 bedrooms have now been refurbished.
Luxury suite guests can also enjoy a complimentary bottle of Carden Old Gold sparkling wine from the on site vineyard which delivers around 6000 bottles created through methode champagnoise. The tipple can also be enjoyed by all guests on the brand new terrace which has spectacular views.
Today the hotel is home to food lovers and recently crowned Chef of the Year 2017 Graham Tindsley MBE, has taken chefs to the culinary world championships for many years. Graham hosts regular foraging trips within the woods and has his own herb garden on site so that guests can savour the flavours in the award winning Redmond’s Resteraunt.
Meanwhile adventure hunters can enjoy the vast playground which offers everything from high ropes to segways, from tennis to mountain bikes, from archery to falconry and is home to Jurassic park dinosaurs with their daily egg hunts for younger guests.
General Manager of Carden Park Paul Bayliss explains “we are offering fun loving families and couples a taste of Europe this summer without them having to leave the county. Golfers can play two of the best golf courses in the UK without the hassle of getting their clubs on a plane and the spa offers true relaxation and treatments, saving a trip to Sweden!
Our sparkling wine, harvested on site rivals the best from French vineyards and we offer many fun activities and adventures without having to travel to an overcrowded theme park.“
