TrapX wins 'Innovative Product of the Year – Threat Detection' at the Annual Cyber Security Awards 2017

TrapX has earned the Innovative Product of the Year – Threat Detection award at the Cyber Security Awards for its TrapX DeceptionGrid™.

The Cyber Security Awards were established in 2014, to reward the best individuals, teams and companies within the cyber security industry. Excellence and innovation are core themes, throughout all categories. The Cyber Security Awards team, reviews the industry, looking for the best possible applicants. We encourage all those, who are committed to progressing the industry, to apply. Organizations and people from all over the world are eligible to submit applications including public and private, for-profit and non-profit, largest to smallest and new start-ups as long as they have a presence with in the United Kingdom. The Cyber Security Awards had 10 expert judges with varied backgrounds, and are some of the most well regarded individuals within the industry.

TrapX DeceptionGrid™ provides a multi-tier deception architecture that is designed to match attackers’ techniques and deceive them at every step. This includes deception Tokens (lures) and medium and high-interaction Traps (decoys). DeceptionGrid baits, traps and engages attackers by deploying camouflaged Traps and Tokens among organisations’ actual IT resources.

Judge Karla Jobling said “The competition this year was really exciting, as innovation and changes in the industry really shone through. There were so many fresh ideas and success stories, it has been challenging to pick the best. There were also a record number of applicants, making the competition in many categories, even tougher.”
