Trinity Precision takes last unit
Specialist engineering company, Trinity Precision Engineering, has taken the last ‘G’ unit in the most recent phase of investment at the Tyne Tunnel Estate, North Tyneside.
The eleven-unit phase refurbishment cost £5m “and it’s lettings to young, emerging, companies such as Trinity Precision that shows how beneficial investment by the landlord, UK Land Estates, is” says Mark Proudlock, partner, industrial agency, Knight Frank, who represented UKLE in the letting.
Trinity Precision took ‘G3’, a 5,691 sq ft unit. Locating from the Newcastle Business Village at Benton, Trinity Precision’s managing director, Carl Buckley, says the move was very much ‘looking to the future’.
“We are just four years old and yet have established an excellent reputation. To allow us to grow we needed what the G units offer - open plan production / distribution space, high quality open plan offices with staff facilities and so on,” says Mr Buckley.
Trinity Precision specialise in supplying exceptional quality Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machined parts to many different sectors such as oil and gas, automotive, sub-sea and Formula One. “Our aim isn’t to be the biggest but simply be the best,” adds Mr Buckley
Tyne Tunnel Estate is strategically located in the commercial hub of North Tyneside and comprises over two million sq ft of space. David Gibbs of UK Land Estates says: “Our continued investment into the estate is paying dividends and we now have a wide range of businesses from Trade to high tech engineering firms.
“It is hoped that we can continue with a further round of investment which again will improve the aesthetics of the estate but continue to make Tyne Tunnel Estate one of the premier locations in the North East to situate a business. It is great to welcome Trinity Precision Engineering to the estate and we hope the business can grow and expand in the years to come.”
The latest phase of UKLE investment has delivered a much improved sense of arrival and efficient business space with new insulated roofs, insulated steel clad elevations, modern accommodation with improved energy efficiency.
